Shefali

Although Shefali Deshay was born and raised in the Bay Area, being a first-generation Indian woman in America has greatly influenced how she hears sound.  Her classical training in Indian Music gives her a unique perspective when writing westernized Pop/R&B songs.  That, in combination with her visual lyrics, which include themes of oppression and female empowerment, make her a powerhouse in the artistic community.
